I’m Wende, and I’m lucky to be Jake’s life partner and mom to Pema (13), Lila (12), and Ryrie (9).

I embrace others, seek to understand, and thrive off of authentic connection.

Having spent much of the last 20 years living and working in the developing world, I know my greatest growth has come from stepping outside of my comfort zone and pushing myself to break down personal and societal barriers to experience the essence of what makes us all one.

I believe the more we let go of our fears around differences, maintaining control, or dying, the more we allow ourselves to truly live.

My greatest hope is that I face life with bravery, compassion, and a smile, and ultimately find joy amidst the countless obstacles and challenges along the way.
